I am an associate professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Stony Brook University. The primary goal of my research is to understand the gas dynamical evolution of galactic disks, with an emphasis on star formation and interstellar medium (ISM) evolution. I am primarily a millimeter-wave radio astronomer, but employ both observational and theoretical approaches to explore gas structure, dynamics, and star formation over global galactic disks.
