- PIN numbers will not be given out by e-mail or over the phone, or at class.
Please bring your ID to office hours (either prof Walter or Mr Salberger )
- The Final Exam will be in ESS 001,
8:00 AM - 10:45 AM on Thursday December 20.
Standard rules apply: you may bring one cheat sheet, no larger than
8 1/2 x 11 inches. Nobody will be allowed to leave before 8:30 AM;
nobody will be admitted after the first test-taker leaves.
- Grades have been updated to reflect part II of the Observational
Activities. One report was submitted without identification.
If you think you submitted that anomymous report, please contact prof W.
- Past tests, quizzes, and reports can be picked up at prof. Walter's
office during office hours through Dec 19, or after the final exam.
Prof W. may be available at other times too - e-mail to make an appointment.
- A small number of reports were submitted with apparently falsified data.
these have been reported to the Academic Judiciary.

The Geminid metor shower runs about Dec 4-16, and will peak the night of
Dec 13-14. Expect about 75 metors per hour. The origin is an Apollo asteroid,
3200 Phaeton. More information
